Cumberland Veterans Monument Committee

Town of Cumberland, Maine

The Cumberland Veterans Monument Committee is currently in the process of compiling names of Cumberland veterans.  Under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 501(a), “Veteran” means a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service and who was discharged under conditions other than dishonorable.  The Committee has accepted a definition of “Veteran” to include any person who served in the active military or reserves and who was discharged under conditions other than dishonorable.

Below are links to the data compiled on Cumberland’s veterans, including a master list of veterans and separate lists by conflict.  If you know of an individual who you believe should be included, or have information about any of the veterans listed, please contact the Cumberland Veterans Monument Committee by using this form CumberlandVeteransFillable.pdf
