As a result, we will be RE-DRAWING THE TEAMS and ADDING PLAYERS.

The FINAL DEADLINE for any and all modifications is Thursday, 5/17.  We mean it this time!

David’s first ever hole in one.  David was playing with Sky Mills, Fran and Matt Mcray.

David, nor anyone in his group, saw the shot go in the cup.  Matt Mcray, thinking the shot rolled over the green, doubled his bet that his shot would land closer.  The ill-advised bet cost Matt and extra $1…great story.

1. League starts next Wednesday, May 16th and runs thru Wednesday, August 29th
2. We have the tee box from 4 to 5:30. If you want to play earlier, we can but MUST make a tee time with the Pro Shop. If you show up later than 5:30, you may have to wait because there is another group on the tee at 5:30.
3. Pace of play is important with a large group (we’re 45 or 46 this year), so please pair up into foursomes when you can.
4. There are several new players in the league this year, please try to make them feel welcome and include them in your group. We were all the “new person” once
5. You can play off of either the GOLD tees or the new GREEN tees. It’s your choice. The only caveat is if you play from the GREEN tees you MUST use the GREEN tee handicap (it’s 4 shots less for 18 holes than your GOLD tee handicap). You can switch from week to week but not in the middle of a round
6. Barbara Moody and Sally Welch “volunteered” to help set up and run a league website. More info to come in the future. THANK YOU BARB AND SALLY!!!
7. Scoring is the same as last year (Net Stableford Points). Kate Harris will print up scoring cheat sheets for both sets of tees. They will be located in the League box on the Ladies bulletin board.
8. Point scores will be entered on the offical league score sheet (just like last year) and put into the maila envelope in the aforementioned League box.
9. NOTE: New players, don’t worry about the stableford points, someone (myself, Kate, a returning league member) will help you learn how to do the points. It’s easy, don’t worry. Just go out and play your round and record your score on the scorecard.
10. The Pro Shop will once again be running a league “ACTION”. $5 for gross, net points and 2 shot closest to the pins. It will be flighted just like last year. An added bonus, if you are in the action, when you turn in your score, the Pro Shop will give you your total score and you league points.
11. You must enter your score into the GHIN computer for handicap purposes
12. I will have copies of the info packet to those who couldn’t attend the meeting.
13. Nancy Storey (Exec Dir of MSGA) will be assisting Kate Harris and myself to put together a set of “local rules” for league. More info to follow
