We have now completed our third full year as owners of Rachel’s on the Green at Val Halla.  We would sincerely like to thank all of you for your continued support of our venture.  It continues to be a joyful and humbling experience to serve you all. 

From the beginning we have made substantial changes to the dining and kitchen areas so as to give you a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience and believe we have succeeded.   Most recently we have installed a new light oak vinyl plank flooring as well as spectacular shiny table tops.  We’ve also added another foot to our divider walls so as to give a little more noise filter and privacy to our dining public.  In our second year our kitchen saw a complete makeover thus making it much more efficient.

This past winter found Rachel’s being opened for the first time, seven days a week, due to the indoor golf simulators that were in operation at the MSGA.   Thanks to Geno and Liz for a successful first year with Fore Season Golf at Val Halla and for having Rachel’s serve their clientele.    A great thanks goes out to loyal patrons for your continued support in our dining area as well.  Our loyal front end staff of Celeste, Patty, Theresa, Patti and Michele appreciate it.

Open house week 2014 saw the unveiling of our new expanded menu.  This was created with the input of our fantastic head chef Ted Gaskell who continues to amaze all with his creations.  Ted’s resume is second to none in the area.

Rachel’s continues to offer a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.  Daily specials are listed on our boards.  We are casual dining and as always open to the public.  Let your hair down, throw on your shorts or jeans and come on in and be prepared to have a great meal at an inexpensive price! 

A big thanks to Michelle and Rachel for their dedication and hard work when needed.  A special thanks to Brian Bickford as well as the Val Halla staff and committee groups for all of your dedication, support and input.  Let’s make our next three years just as successful.
